Nov. 13, 2004 Here's a band to fall in love with: The Soledad Brothers. Check out their new release Voice of Treason. If you've been tuned in to KXUA in the last week, no doubt you've heard 'em - everyone seems to be spinning "Cage that Tiger"

Not really my playlists since I was in India - but they still rock...
Aug. 07, 2004 This show was a sort-of bon voyage to myself since I'm headed off to India til mid-Sept. (!) Lots of tracks had India as subject, or at least a cool sitar involved.
July 31, 2004 Did a special show of double and triple shots. That meant that anyone who called in got more bang for their request buck! Requests included the Clash and the Replacements.
July 24, 2004 Pulled a special 3 hour shift, filling in partially for the Squidge on the Mix Tape. That bit featured mostly older stuff so the Love Blanket focused on new releases. Thanks everyone who called in - it makes me really happy! I've posted the playlist from last Wednesday night's artist feature on Grant Hart that I put together. Hope you got a chance to listen in.
July 17, 2004 The Hypstrz - yeah!

Scoured the record stores in St. Louis last weekend and made some good finds like the Pretty Things tribute "Not So Pretty" which I played a couple of tracks from. The Patti Smith concert was life altering - I'm still pinching myself! Seeing her in William S. Burroughs home town was pretty dang cool.
No ELB June 19 - Went to St. Louis to see Patti Smith!!!
June 12, 2004 My pick of the week: The Soviettes LPII - My oldie fave of the night - Glory of Man by the Minutemen.
June 05, 2004 Porn Star Moustache by Conshafter. What's not to like with a title like that? They remind me a little of Fountains of Wayne.
May 29, 2004 A special extended show, since I filled in for the last hour of the Mix tape. A couple of gems turned up in my review stack this week: Sharks and Minnows from Atlanta & Jim Guthrie from Toronto.
May 22, 2004 A night of double shots included my fave new band Hard Place, Husker Du, Iggy Pop and brand new Dexter Romweber.
May 15, 2004 Hard Place was gracious enough to send along their 1st CD In Reverse, so I started things off with "New DNA" and pretty much kept it rocking. My pick of the week: The Delays Faded Seaside Glamour.
May 08, 2004
Kicked things off with "School's Out" keeping this year's grads in mind. Personal favorite track of the night "Green Eyes" by Husker Du off of Flip Your Wig.
May 01, 2004 Read a few song titles and you'll see that this was my spring fever show.
April 24, 2004 The a-side of the first Three O' Clock EP and a gem off the forthcoming Patti Smith release Trampin'.

January 17, 2004 Debut show: T. Rex Cosmic Dancer, The Ramones, Iggy Pop, The Forty Fives and Slumber Party.
